Membership & Race Fees

If you are altogether new to RC racing, you get your first 3 visits to GlasgowRC Club free!
Each racer must have their own BRCA membership after their 3rd visit www.brca.org/join



Becoming a member of GlasgowRC Club not only saves you some money, most importantly it supports the club and helps it develop.


GlasgowRC Membership (Renewable annually):-

Membership of GlasgowRC includes full membership of the East Kilbride Sports Club. Glasgow Model Car Club/GlasgowRC is a section of East Kilbride Sports club, as such membership goes to support the entire Sports Club which in turn supports GlasgowRC. We do not charge a membership for our section, we only require you to have a sports club membership (which we record, and pass on the payment to the sports club each month).

The benefits of becoming a member of GlasgowRC include the following:

– Adults race on Wednesdays @ £3 and Sundays @£5
– Under 16’s members race free
– *FREE* Practice sessions anytime a meeting isn’t on
– Priority mains power charging

Costs for Membership

Option 1 – Pay in Full for 12 months
– £120 Adult
– £50 Junior (Under 18)
– £80 Retired (Pension age) / Intermediate (Under 21)
– £180 Family (Includes 2 Adults & all children under 18 years.)

You can pay by:
– Paypal – info@glasgowrc.com (FRIENDS & FAMILY ONLY)
– Bank Transfer – email info@glasgowrc.com and we will send you the payment details
– Debit/Credit Card (The prices on the online shop are a bit more expensive as there are online card charges included)

Option 2 – Pay recurring monthly payments by debit/credit card
– Adult – £10.50 month
– Junior (Under 18) – £4.50 month
– Retired (Pension age) / Intermediate (Under 21) – £7.00 month
– Family (Includes 2 Adults & all children under 18 years.) – £15.50 month

Note: Monthly payments due on the 1st of each month. If a monthly payer cancels their membership, falls behind or doesn’t pay, all club benefits are removed and we notify the sports club and the person is removed as a member. If someone cancels their payment they cannot enjoy member benefits or pay monthly again until all payments due are paid. Any changes to the Sports Club yearly fees set at the AGM will be immediately applied to monthly payments.

Option 3 – Pay by monthly standing order
– Adult – £10 a month
– Junior (Under 18) – £4.17 a month
– Retired (Pension age) / Intermediate (Under 21) – £6.67 a month
– Family (Includes 2 Adults & all children under 18 years.) – £15 a month

To setup a standing order with your bank, please email info@glasgowrc.com and we will send you the payment details.

If you are an existing member who is renewing their membership
If you are renewing your existing membership and we have all your details already, you can renew your membership by paying the fees due in option 1,2 or 3 detailed above. You can easily setup a recurring monthly payment by debit/credit card below :-
